4 weeks and taking root...

At this point, I am four weeks pregnant. I still don't know yet, but I'm starting to have some odd symptoms. I kept waking up at 2:30 am consistently. As a huge lover of sleep, this was out of character and annoying! Also, during a yoga class in which I was a teaching assistant, I thought I was going to pass out, and needed to leave the room to save myself from embarrassment. Thankfully, by sitting down and drinking water, I avoided a fainting spell.

This picture is of me doing Vrksasana (tree pose) at Jared's cousins' (Carol and Tom) beach club in Rye, New York. We went on vacation for 4 days at the end of August. While in New York, I took an express yoga class at Om Yoga which was great, but afterwards, my muscles kept shaking, and I felt exhausted!! I knew something was definitely going on with my body, but I thought it could have just been the flu.

Little did I know what exciting news was in store....

Love,
Michelle

Before you were you....

Me. At 2.5 weeks pregnant. Before I knew I was pregnant. This picture is of me and my niece, Lulu, in front of the Washington Monument during my sister's visit to DC this summer in August. I didn't feel any different and I, of course, don't look any different, but I suppose we should start from the very beginning and this is it!

Love,
Michelle

Ta-Da! We're Pregnant

Well, okay..this really shouldn't be news to anyone since I am now 20 weeks (or 5 months) pregnant, but this is the first post on our new blog to chronicle this joyous and miraculous experience. Since so many friends and family live far away (not to mention that life just gets in the way of socializing!) we thought this would be a good way to share our growing pains (literally!) with those we love. Keep checking back for visual proof of soon-to-be baby Cohen and this will be your one-stop shop for photos post-birth. Well, here and Kodak Gallery because I know each one of you will want to purchase a photo of your very own to hang on your fridge.

To catch up on the last 20 weeks, view the upcoming posts. Soon, I'll catch up and we will be right on schedule.

Thanks for being a special part of our life and stopping by to be a part of it! As they say...it takes a village and you are our village!

Much love,
Michelle and Jared
